Calling All Business Owners - Consider Planning A Leitrim Gathering Event At Your Business
The Leitrim Gathering is scheduled to take place from Friday 23rd – Sunday 25th May 2025 and is a weekend intended to celebrate the culture, heritage and people of our wonderful county. There will be three flagship music events taking place in Ballinamore on Friday 23rd, Carrick on Shannon and Manorhamilton on Saturday 24th, and Carrick on Shannon on Sunday 25th May. A packed programme of roughly another forty events, including tea dances, heritage events, exhibitions and more will run throughout the weekend.
The Gathering should attract visitors from near and far. Why not plan an event on your premises that demonstrates all that is great about Leitrim. The scope and theme of the event you decide to run is up to you and may entail opening for longer hours or putting on an extra show/visitor experience etc. Ideally the event will have relevance to Leitrim or have a Leitrim connection.
Leitrim County Council envisages other potential revenue generating opportunities for businesses participating in The Leitrim Gathering. Please think about collaborating with companies in the area to deliver bespoke packages for customers and visitors – these could consist of providing options around accommodation, activities, food and drink, transport, special offers etc. The Leitrim Gathering will promote your event and/or packages online to our domestic and international audience through the dedicated Leitrim Gathering Facebook page with over 9,000 followers.
