Join us in Leitrim to celebrate “The Leitrim Gathering” from 23rd to 25th May 2025. The Leitrim Gathering is a celebration by Leitrim people worldwide, all that is great about our County. A full weekend schedule of events is being organised by Leitrim County Council in all corners of the county.

The Leitrim Gathering will promote the rich cultural, historical, and musical tradition of the county by connecting Leitrim people worldwide. Engaging the Leitrim diaspora, increasing visitor numbers and welcoming all those who have made Leitrim their home, are key objectives of The Leitrim Gathering.

To mark this special occasion, Leitrim County Council have announced a funding scheme for community groups who wish to host an event in their local area during the weekend of the 23rd to the 25th of May 2025, to celebrate The Leitrim Gathering.
